A MIRACULOUS JOURNEY.

Read a children's book last night about a china rabbit, Edward Tulane, who was loved by his owner, Abilene. He was a fine looking rabbit who does not understand what love is; he had trouble loving others, and accepting others' love for him. However, he had no trouble loving himself. Edward's egocentric self would not allow him to see beyond his good looks and circumstances. His was blind to Abilene's love for him and how he was so very blessed. Until one day, he was lost, sunken in the deep blue ocean and felt an emotion for the first time: loneliness. It was a series of unfortunate events since then which taught Edward what love is. Love though, pained him. Everytime Edward opened his heart to a new owner, they left him (by force or because of death), so he finally decided to close his heart. He learned from another 100 year-old doll that love requires sacrifice, it takes courage, but it is something that's definitely worth a shot. Edward opened up his heart again. Years later, Abilene found him and both were extremely delighted.
